During the early part of the week, we are making all of these products. Our fresh pork comes in on Tuesdays and becomes the sausages we sell on Thursday. On Tuesday afternoon, our smokehouse is readied for action and our hams and bacon are started.
Albert Thurn is the 4th Generation owner of Thurn's. He figures there is not a more experienced left handed sausage maker in Ohio. He doesn't know when he linked his first sausage, but it was pretty close to 65 years ago. He calls our products homemade because he grew up in the smokehouse
